There are a number of ways that you can make a jewelry tree and they are perfect for hanging your bracelets or necklaces. For the simplest version, just grab a nice twig from the yard and stick it in a vase. Voila! You have necklace storage that costs nothing and literally takes about two minutes to make. You can also be a bit more crafty and create a beautiful tree that will hold necklaces, bracelets, and even rings if you want to take a bit more time. A jewelry tree looks great wherever you sit it and really does help to keep your jewelry organized.

Over time, the pieces of jewelry that you frequently wear might begin to develop a grimy layer of dirt that can cause even the brightest of your gemstones look dull. To bring back the sparkle you can take your jewelry to a professional to clean it. However, this can take time and get rather expensive. A more convenient, and inexpensive way to clean your jewelry is to make a homemade jewelry cleaner and clean your pieces at home.

I even cautiously tried the leftover solution on a costume jewellery pair of earrings (I DON’T recommend anyone else reading this to try this though as your jewellery could be very different quality to mine!) and it worked to remove the last bits of tarnish off the chain- already used baking soda on it before and most of it was shiny as new, but this last method completely removed everything else. My costume jewellery was made of very good metal and handiwork so the solution did not damage my jewellery. Thank you so much again for such invaluable tips and advice!
Seashells are one of the best natural materials to make jewelry as they are very cheap and look awesome. Besides, you can find seashells when you go to the beach. Take two shells and make holes in shells and attach 2 jump rings and 2 earring hooks. The final step is to glue pearls. Done! You can use different kinds of shells and pearl beads for more variation. Also, you can use beads to decorate earrings.

I just used this to clean mine and my husband’s silver wedding bands. This stuff is great. Our bands were looking pretty dingy and we bought some professional silver cleaner and it made them look worse. I was horrified, but then I found this recipe, tried it, and had success. I cut the recipe in half since I was just cleaning two rings. It apparently didn’t change the cleaning power because they haven’t been this shiny in forever! Thanks for posting the recipe. Will use from now on!

The framed jewelry organized featured on monaluna is both elegant and practical. Notice that it has a thin storage tray at the bottom. It’s useful for storing pendants, rings and other small jewelry pieces and accessories. We also like the fact that the frame and the back panel were painted all white. If you want, you can use some sandpaper to create a distressed, vintage look.

Over time, you may notice that your silver jewelry is looking tarnished and you have wondered how to clean a silver necklace or bracelet. Jewelry tarnishes because the sulfur that is present in the air creates a chemical reaction to the silver. This homemade silver cleaner is simple to make and won’t cost you a ton of money because most of the ingredients are ones you probably already have in your pantry.
